Why appeals fail
Sellers with entirely genuine products get denied every day. Not because Amazon caught them doing anything wrong, but because the evidence they attached missed a requirement nobody told them about.
Your invoiced quantity has to cover 365 days of sales for each ASIN Amazon named. Sell 1,612 units, document 1,250, and it is rejected regardless of how legitimate your supplier is.
Amazon calls to verify. A supplier they cannot reach, or cannot find online, is recorded as unverified — which reads to a reviewer the same as a forged document.
Anything you have not already done is a promise, and promises carry no weight in that section. Undated actions get skipped.
In Amazon's framework, “inauthentic” means it cannot verify your supply chain — not that it believes your product is fake. Sellers who respond by insisting their goods are genuine lose on a point that was never in dispute.
